Adding a ladder

Hey there! I just bought a 2022 Salem 29vbud, and it did not come with a ladder. I've tried contacting Forest River, and asking the dealer, but can't get a straight answer regarding whether it is able to support a ladder, and if so, where exactly to place it so it's attached to the frame. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Laura

Hello Laura,
I just bought one of these and secured it to the wall inside the passthrough with hooks. It's pretty stable and lightweight.

I added a ladder to the rear/outside of my '15 TT back when I bought it new. I can't remember who I ordered it from but it appears to be as the OEM ladders. I DID contact Forest River to get a print of the wall stud layout for the back wall of the TT so I would know where to place the screws for the ladder. FT sent me a nice print of the layout of the studs and to my surprise there was a backer board factory installed just for the placement of the screws for the ladder. That made the job so much easier. You might want to look into seeing if you can get one for your unit.
