Additional counterspace

Someone posted a picture of their camper (Possibly a Sierra or Sandpiper) where they either added or their model contained a flip up counter in the kitchen which when folded down partially covered one of their top drawers. I have a Sierra 365SAQ and as I recall the picture, it was possibly the same model. My wife has been begging me (to come up with an idea) for some additional space and I thought your set-up would be perfect. Was trying to find who posted the picture to ask these two questions:

Was this an option that you added, and if so, where did you buy from (and if it was forest river, do you have a contact name and number)

Was this the way your model came, and if so, what model do you have and maybe I can work with someone (if anyone has a contact at FR) and buy this. It would sure make my wife's day as anyone with this model knows the one thing lacking is a smidge more countertop for food preparation.

Thanks so much!

My Sierra has the same counter extension pictured here, it's very useful and my trash can fits under it perfectly.

Unfortunately, mine was a factory installed piece so I can't help much in finding one.

Thanks to everyone for the replies. Our unit is a 2012, I special ordered in June 2011 and we didn't have an option for this. I will reach out to a contact at FR and see if I can just buy one and have it shipped to me. JasonLevangie, that's exactly what I am looking for. That's the same countertop color we have. I opted out of the solid surface because of the weight, but then after delivery argued and got the 7K axles, so wish I would have ordered with them anyway, but that's exactly what I am looking for, to keep the DW happy. Thanks for posting.

If anyone has a contact name and number for Sierra or Sandpiper @ FR, please share

Thanks again

Give Denise a call she is a sierra/sandpiper parts lady and she is very good and very knowledgable. Give that other thread a read through as well if you have any questions on that backing of the cabinets or anything aswell it's all in there.
