Advice for keyless entry for my 2017 MicroLite 25ks
We are looking to replace the stock key lock on our travel trailer. Looking for advice on how to swap out the stock lock with a key pad. Not sure where to look, and what will work with our door. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Steve from North Jersey.

Rvlock is definitely good but if a little steep in price for you Amazon has two additional brands listed at $161 and $189.
P.s. great looking rig

RV Lock has one for $159 (v3.0) factory direct and google for promos that could be 20% off. I got mine for $119 free shipping / no tax last spring.

And remember, you only have to do one door. There is no need to put a second keyless entry into the bedroom.
Our new Columbus has a keyless entry from the factory, but we used RVLock in the Windjammer that we previously owned. Installation was simple.

I have the Bauer brand keyless entry. Installation was pretty easy and I feel it's one of the best mods I made. Customer service is very good. I bought a reconditioned unit. It started to malfunction a few months later (out of the warranty period). I called Bauer and explained what it was doing. They gave me several fixes, I tried them all and they didn't work. Second call to Bauer and they sent me out a new unit with a return authorization/shipping sticker for the defective one, no questions asked. (the new unit arrived a couple of days later). I love having the keyless entry. Cincia

We went with the Lippert RV Keyless Lock 3 years ago & love it. Do not forget to change your compartment locks if they came with your RV because everyone has the same. You can either go on line & replace all your locks with either key or combination ones, we went to a locksmith & just had the cylinders redone, much cheaper. Hope this helps.

Advice for keyless entry for my 2017 MicroLite 25ks
Thank you everyone for the advice. I went to my dealer\service center (Escape RV) and asked about getting a key less lock. The parts guy said they stopped stocking them because they found most manufactures to be unsatisfactory. Too many customers returning with problems. He didn't name any brand names but he said a high percentage of customers had problems with them. From battery to mechanical. He said wait a season and ask him next year. I like the guy, he has done right by me a few times.
Not sure what I am going to do yet. I will revisit next year. It's good to see that some of you have been problem free so far. That's good to hear.
Again thank you for the advice, It great having a community of RVer's to turn too for help.
Steve

My Motorhome has a Bauer keyless lock, it works great but the 4 AA batteries only last a few months. There is no warning when the batteries are getting weak, so you don't know it until the lock won't unlock, so you need to always have the keys with you. After 2 years years I gave up and just use the key.
