Anyone replace your recliners with these?
Hi All,
We have a 2018 Sunseeker 3010DS that came with the dual recliners. We've found that is the least used part of the RV for us, as it is really set up only to watch TV. Has anyone swapped out those (or the alternative sofa) for chairs like this: https://www.campingworld.com/thomas-...-oxford-walnut
Why would we make this change? 1) lighter weight than the included version; 2) would better accommodate a portable desk/table (we're not retired yet); 3) they swivel; 4) they come in different sizes for tall DH and short moi; and 5) they have to be more comfortable than what's in there now.
Regardless of whether they replaced something else, I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has this style of chair - how do you like it? Does it stay put when you're underway? It does not bolt down, which makes us nervous.
Thanks!

I bought some just like these to replace the dinette in my Toy Hauler, still have them as the buyer wanted the dinette. They do not sit up straight so are not suitable for eating at a table, that was something I did not consider, other than that they are VERY comfortable and lightweight and much smaller than a regular recliner. I searched around and found them cheaper elsewhere. They're a light tan color. Want to buy them?

Take a look at what Total loss did with those recliners in his Sunseeker:

He took out a dinette to put them in. I took out a dinette and added the dual recliners and love it. Some great ideas there.

Those are very nice chairs and I thought about buying a set to replace the very uncomfortable recliners that came in my 5'ver.
But...they are way too pricey for me!
While I haven't purchased new chairs yet, I found some similar chairs at a large furniture store in Denver (AFW.com) for half that price that were just as comfortable, plus also came in a variety of colors.
As for strapping down the chairs, I never strap my recliners down as I can't contort my body in the many strange positions required to not only reach the chair tie down straps, but the hooks in the floor where the tie downs attach!

Well, what we did is remove our painful/cheap Lippert jacknife sofa and replace it with a Lambright Harrison double recliner with power recline. Super comfortable. Super happy. Don't wanna say how much it cost, but it was a lot more than Thomas Payne recliners tho. Lambright makes a wide range of styles, types and dimensions of seating specifically for RVs and it's high quality. Not exactly lightweight however.
Don't want to start a controversy, but we wouldn't be buying furniture from CW. FWIW, Thomas Payne is a Lippert product. These recliners may have have hold-down brackets available for them. Would be surprised if not. Could always make or adapt some brackets (maybe elec. conduit clamps for ex.?).

We use Lazy Boy recliners. Cloth. Be aware that some of the cheaper chairs have Vinyl which will degrade.

Recently replaced fold out couch with theater seating and poor quality lounge chairs with Recpro models. easy to change out - great prices - no more lumps and the recliners stay where you put them

That would be $1,800 * each* .... hence the need to win the lottery!

If you are passing through Calera, AL on I-65, make a stop at Alabama Furniture on HWY 31. We removed the junk that came with our TT and repalced it with two super comfortable recliners. We, and the doxies love them.
