Great to hear mn308, I know what you mean about "jacking up the trailer"......Can you pm the price if you don't mind? I would sure like to compare prices if I could.

Thanks

MrSen

MrSen,

A buddy stopped over tonight and I demo’ed (during a cold one, or two…) how nice this will be.

In reference to tying it into the battery with a large O-ring terminal, does the unit come with a built in breaker or fuse? If not I would suggest putting one in line under the battery cover. Just for safety sake.

Can't speak for all Barker jacks, but the one I installed had a holder and fuse on the hot wire.

Now I just need to get some split-loom or other protection on that wire before it gets damaged....

I concur. The fuse holder is actually pretty nice too, and like mn_308, I need to put some split loom on it.

I ordered The Barker 3000# High Power jack this morning from the factory. Only $185 dollars! Couldn't find a better price anywhere. I was told I should have it in "5 work days". Only one more time to Crank it up!

My Barker Jack came in yesterday, only took 2 days to get here from the factory. And only about 15 minutes to install. It takes longer to drive out to where we park the camper. the operation is So smooth and quiet, I think this is going to be one of our favorite "MODS"
