Bye bye old bathroom faucet, Hello new

From the first trip I hated how close your hands were to the back of the sink when washing. Well I decided it was time to change. New faucet installed Took about 15 minutes to complete that was about it. Color matches to the old one. Tested, looking for leaks and so far so good. I am happy with it, even more so it was on a Meanards close out for $15.

And yes ... it produces an interesting result before you get all the air purged from the lines.

For my 183 it was a very quick and easy mod. Took only a few minutes. I think it took me longer to unwind my hose and drag it to my Trailer and hook up. Either way it's worth the time and money in my eyes. Next might be the kitchen faucet. [emoji16]

DH replaced the kitchen faucet in our 360IBL because somehow we managed to crack the "non metal" (not plastic, it's Non-Metal, lol) sprayer head that was standard on our model and I love having the sprayer function again. I'm still working with the one handle thing instead of the two but loving it! And I've been wanting the one in the bathroom replaced soon for the same reason as you. We don't have a Menard's around here but we keep looking at Lowe's and Home Depot for a replacement.

Which one of us are you asking for the faucet? The broken or not broken one?

If you are referring to my faucet the one that is not broke I would be happy to sell it to you but I think by the time you paid me $15 and paid for shipping you might be able to find one at a store near you.

Nice job, Tim.
That's my next project. When I wash my face and hands in the bathroom sink i always smack my head on the medicine cabinet!
Also, when we did our PDI, the tech guy told us to run the sprayer function on our kitchen faucet until pink when winterizing. He said it has it's own seperate water supply and could freeze and crack. I never would have thought about it on my own.

The broken bathroom faucet. My handle broke where it screws in. FR SEEMS to use the screw in handle on several models.

Will you be at the Frog Rally at Goshen? We plan to bring the faucet from our new rig to the yard sale they always have. We replaced it as soon as we got home as it was set too close to the edge of the sink.

Ours new was like the op described so close to the back rim of the sink and I thought replacing it was going to be my first mod. I took the faucet loose and was surprised how much adjustment there was. I pulled it forward as far as I could and now replacing it is moved down the list and I can wait until I find a deal like the op did.

I replaced the bathroom OEM faucet in my 2011 Georgetown a few years ago with one that had a longer spout because I couldn't use the sink to clean my contact lenses. The water stream was just too close to the back of the sink. Before we head to the Goshen rally this year, I need to replace it again because, to keep water use reasonable, I now need a faucet that I can control without touching valve handles. Battery powered automatic faucets are available starting at $26, with higher quality ones that include a mixing valve running around $45. American Standard, Moen, and other high quality ones have prices in the hundreds of dollars.
