Carpet ... needs replacing BADLY

Hi all. Am looking for suggestions and ideas for replacing the carpet in our Windjammer. The carpet is on the double slide and in the bedroom including the slide. Would like comments on replacing with carpet and also anyone that replaced the carpet with hardwood/laminate. What problems were encountered?
My concerns would be where the slide meets the floor..
Would have be nice if decent carpet was put in at the build.
Thanks ahead of time for any replies.

Bump, because I'm curious too - hoping someone will chime in with suggestions.

Carpet ... needs replacing BADLY

I replaced carpet in my old 2000 mallard with vinyl plank flooring. My wife hates carpet. Lucky our new TT does not have any

I cut up old flooring both carpet and linoleum and put down the vital planks. Made a big difference.

Left old linoleum under toilet.

That was interesting

After 2 days of shopping and picking out vinyl to replace the carpet in the bedroom area, we got a surprise. The original vinyl installed by FR, (which we like) extended throughout the bedroom area. We cut/ripped out the grungy carpet and are now back to the same vinyl throughout. A couple of area rugs should help the 1st steps in the morning.
Still have to tackle the big slide, but it will be a later project.
