Closet refiguring

Hi! Hoping to get some insight to solve our closet situation. We have a 2021 Cedar Creek 371FL. There are 2 small (very small) closets in the bedroom and the hanging racks run front to back not side to side. Terrible design, no room for clothes when full-time! Anyone address this issue already? Have any suggestions?

Thanks, any help is appreciated!

Looks like they put a lot of the storage under the rv which doesn't help your problem.

You say that the rods go front to back which is probably to allow you to store more clothes in that space. Could you put in a pull out rod like this?

If that won't work, what we did in our old 19' eclipse was purchased a sheet of good plywood and a few 1x1 square dowels. Did the math on how many shelves we wanted with how much room per shelf, measured/cut the dowels and used carpenters glue and stuck them in the corners, measured and cut the plywood to fit that space. Kept doing that until our 1 closet we had to use children's hangers on was 3 shelves. Ended up doing the same in the cupboards and cabinets. Cheap and effectively doubles storage space for cups, dishes, or having in the case of the closet, 1 with towels and such, one shelf for the wife and one for me. Worked until we sold it.

Had same issues on our closets. I put shelves in the wife's side and partial shelves in mine.
