Coleman Solar Panels

Thinking about purchasing a set of 55 Watt Coleman Solar panels from Costco. They are only $199 with a charge controller. My batteries went belly up thus winter do I think I will replace them with 4 6 Volt golf cart batteries in a series-parallel setup. From research it seems like a good deal! Anybody have experience with these solar panels? I have a 2008 Forest River Wildcat Toyhauler (31).

If you are looking for 55w to just keep batteries topped off, take care of the parasite loads, and occasional use, they should be enough. You'll still need to plug-in or run a generator for those long rainy evenings playing games or watchin the tele, as 55w isn't enough to bring them back to full charge the following day.

Still a much better option than plugging in every time that youstop for more than a coupole of hours....

After further research I think I will wait and possibly install a larger 200 watt panel with a higher grade charge controller. If I ever want to upgrade all I should have to do is buy another panel. I was looking at affordable solar's website and they seem to have a good selection of high quality panels. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. I am new to campers and this sight is great!
