Countertop addition

After waiting a couple weeks for my matching counter top to arrive I was finally able to install my countertop extension. I put some 5/8" plywood on the inside of the cabinet to beef up the end and bolted the brackets through the cabinet and plywood. The manufacture for my counter was AIA Countertops. I bought a set of 18" Toirxarn Folding Shelf Brackets off amazon (they all seem to be the same Chinese made) I will report back how the brackets hold up.

Great Job, Was just looking at a toy hauler that would need the same thing done. Never enough counter space.

Thanks guys, I emailed Forest River for the color and part number of the kitchen counter then dealt with AIA directly. This piece was $60 for 20x24 and additional $18 to ship which I feel is very reasonable to have it match the color and style of the existing counter. The build quality even looks better with thicker plywood backing and thicker edges.
