My optional countertop extension wobbled when mounted on my Windjammer 2809W. It was just plain dangerous with it's one leg design.
I thought about putting hinges on it to make it more stable, then realized my dinnete slide would close putting the table right up to the counter where the top would be fastened. Crunch.
Then, I thought about ordering another leg and mounting the old and new legs to provide equal left/right support. Fortunately I didn't do that before coming across one of Sid's reply threads about his solution, here's the link...

So, I went to Tractor Supply Store and picked up two 1/4" x 1 1/4" hitch pins. I mounted the extension firmly as he suggested, then drilled a 1/4" hole into each cabinet bracket mount continuing through the extension tab mount. I inserted the pins. What a huge difference and such a cheap simple solution!!!
His reply thread has better pictures, and I plan to add the line to hold the pins when removed. My pictures below show the pins right after I drilled the holes and inserted them, and the slide table stored and retracted right up to the counter cabinet where the extension mounts. Mental note, always remove extension before retracting slide, don't forget Ray. And, oh yeah, thanks Sid.
