Custom Switch Labels

Had custom labels made for my switches.
Now I know exactly what I'm flipping on/off and I won't look like an old blind guy aimlessly pushing buttons!!! Ha!

I ordered them online. I would have to go look at the envelope they came in to get the name of the company, but if you Google search something like "small laser engraved stick on name badges" it should pull up a list of suppliers.
They will have different sizes and colors and you simply enter your text for a preview of the piece place the order.
My delivery was about 3-4 days time. Very quick turnaround. I want to say they came from a place in Florida, but I'll have to get into the camper and check the envelope to get you more information.
My switches are up high, so I tried to place the nameplates at the bottom side of the switch bezel so that my kids and wife could see them.
I'll post more info. soon.

You can make your own label.
It's sort of a label sandwich.
Use your favorite word processor and type out the labels you want.
Place 2 sided tape on the back of the page but don't peel off wax paper.
Now you have a label with sticky tape on the back but the 2nd sticky side is still covered with wax paper.
Now place clear shipping tape over the printed side.
Now cut out your labels- peel the wax paper off and apply.

I worked for an electrical supply company that was making assembly line test equipment. We made our labels this way for wires as well as chassis labels.

All you need is a printer.
Some 2 sided(carpet) tape and
some clear packing tape.

Then you can go label crazy!
