DIY window tinting questions

I'd really like to have a tinting for privacy, uv protection etc. on my Cruise Lite.

Has anyone ever tried applying the DIY stuff from Lowe's or similar?

How'd it turn out?

Did this on a previous trailer. We wanted the sleeping areas darker and not to have to pull blinds every time someone needed to change clothes.

It came out quite good and my Wife was pleased with the results. When you purchase the film also buy the application kit. Before starting check out the many U-tube video how-to's. Start on the smallest window first. Keep the film/glass wet. Most importantly, take your time.

I did a small window first, got used to applying and trimming the film. I was not pleased with my first try so I removed the film and started over with a new piece. The second time around things went well. The more windows I did, the easier it got. It takes 3-5 days for the tinted to dry to the window and look crystal clear

Follow the instructions, take your time and you should be happy with the results.

Biggest issue is to keep the window and the film WET. This will allow you to squeege out the bubbles. ALL the bubbles.
As mentioned, take your time and should look good.

On our trailer the screens had clips that you had to turn, then pop out the screen carefully.
