Dometic RM2652 Thermistor Adjustment fix

To adjust the temperature in a Dometic RM2652, you are to move the plastic slide up to make the fridge colder.

The plastic slide that holds the thermistor in mine was loose. Loose enough that when I slide it up the fin, the thermistor slide down the sleeve. Moving the slide did nothing to move the thermistor.

First I drilled a small hole in the slide. Then I used a tie-wrap to clamp the thermistor in the slide.

Now when I moved the slide up the fridge got down to 34F.

Later it got down to 30F and I moved it down a 1/4 inch. I still plan on a 12v fan to circulate the air inside the fridge.

That's a good idea, mine is always loose, think I'll try that trick.

I installed a small computer fan with double stick tape.

It is only 0.15 amps or 3.6ah a day. The fan runs all the time on the same power as the light. I replaced the original light with a LED.

A binder clip works well and is pretty easy...

The point is check to see if your thermistor is loose. I only showed how I fixed it.

Please post a picture of how you fixed it.
