Thanks tc cruiser, I will be installing one of these before next camping season. That whole thing that happened to me was pretty embarrassing to say the least. Pretty bad to have just bought a brand new tt and have that happen. I suppose if we had been further back in the mountains I probably would have used something to break the lock/door or the window in the door most likely. Hard lesson to learn!

electric lock

I have the bauer lock on my tt and its one of the best mods I've done. I did have problems with my first one (bought a refurb) but when I contacted bauer they replaced it with a brand new lock (even though it was out of warranty). The new one works great. I have a combo lock box bolted to the bottom of the trailer with extra keys in it just in case. Love the electric lock!
