electrical modification question

I have Coachmen Class A 2014 and would like to add an electrical outlet inside a storage area. The idea being to put a TV inside the storage area.

I am ok with doing some wiring around the house or car but not sure how best to wire this being both.

When boondocking, I would not have to run the genny just so the wife can watch at movie at night.

So where best to connect the plug?

Because you are talking about an electrical outlet which is exterior to the rig, you should have a GFI circuit, or at least, tap into the GFI circuit of your bathroom outlet.

If you were standing on damp ground, or get wet touching anything electrical, electrical code states you must have GFI protection.

If not..........the results could be shocking!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could you just run An extension cord from existing exterior outlet. Simple & would save some work.
