Electricity and water shouldn't mix

I tried to search for an answer but I didn't find anything. I think the terms I was using might be too vague. I opened the panel below my fridge to get to the water pump so I could install my antifreeze kit and found the freshwater tank fill hose, fresh water supply to the pump and water pump. All things I expected to be there. What I was not expecting to see is a fuse and relay panel sitting on the floor right next to the water pump (and a gas line for good measure). Is there any reason that I can't move the electric panel to the side wall of the compartment or does it need to stay horizontally flat (there is enough slack in the wires)? Or should I just try and put it up on some blocks and move it over?

You can re-mount it any which way and where you want it without issues.

Move it.
The idiots who "blueprinted" our Lexi put the water filter in the same underbed compartment as the main fuse/breaker panel. I mean right next to it, and above the mass or wireing that fed into the panel.
Ever try to remove the filter housing without letting some water escape or drip out? Ha!!! If that housing had ever cracked under pressure it would have possibly caused a major problem.
Ended up just removing the water filter and bridged the gap with some pex and push-on fittings.
If these units ever had to be inspected and were under the same guidelines as a regular home, I doubt one would pass. Safety violations all over the place.

Thanks guys. I was pretty sure that was the answer but I wanted a second opinion. I guess that is one more thing on the list of stuff to do.

In addition to moving it and mounting it to the side, I suggest building a spray barrier by hanging some plastic sheeting from above. That is what I did just for peace of mind. Pin hole leaks happen all the time and as you so well put it, electricity and water do not mix.

I was contemplating some kind of plastic box for it, but a curtain like you suggested would be easy. Thanks!

It wasn't a filter. It was a bypass kit for the pink stuff. When I installed it the fittings were directly above the fuses.
