External propane connection

Has anyone been successful connecting a standard Coleman 2 burner camp stove model 5430E to the external propane quick connect?

I think the issue you are going to run into is that the stove is high pressure and has no regulator and the quick connect is probably low pressure, meaning it is after the regulator.

You will need to remove the regulator on the Coleman stove. The quick connect on the camper is low pressure. You cannot have a appliance with a built in regulator connected to to a low pressure line.

X2
Good of description as any. Don't believe you can do it. You can get a hose that will go from the stove to your bulk cyl. You probably know that!

Is there a brand name camp stove other than Colman that will easily connect to the quick connect on my 5th wheel. Apparently Coleman uses proprietary fittings and I can’t find the right sizes to adapt this stove to use the quick connect.

A couple of options here.
