Fan cover handle too high

My A frame fan cover handle can only be reached on tiptoes. Ideas for an extension or a tool to use?

You can use some pvc tubing to make a tool to open. Get a diameter that is just bigger then the center of the knob and cut channels on each side a little bigger the the wings on the knob. This will make it so you can use two hands and not stretch.

Works on the lever type also, the arm comes out at a 90 degree with a knob at the end.

How about a small stepstool from CW or Amazon? They are only about $10.

Had this in our previous pop up where the vent was inconveniently located up over the galley, making it hard to reach.

We had an extendable handle broom that was hollow tubing. I pulled out the end hook for hanging and the hollow tube fits the crank handle. Spin away.

I just bought a Kwik Stick RV Roof Vent Extension from Amazon. At $30, it is a bit pricey, but eliminates having to use a stool to turn on the fan in the bathroom. The only problem is that it really didn't fit the knob for the fan, so I stuffed a piece from a small diameter pool noodle and, it worked.

You also get a long rod for other uses (opening stove vent flapper that is 12 feet off the ground).

These look like great devices to open & close vents,,, some people would still have a problem turning the fan on & off or up & down !!!
