Four years of mods

We got our 2004 Georgetown XL for years ago and have done a lot of modification. On this extended trip we have tested all of them.

Here is our list

Solar system 720 watts of panels going into 6 batteries for storage. The batteries are Interstate 6 vdc with 175 amps each for a total of 525 amp hr storage at 12 volts.

New King Dome with 40 inch Samsung TV in front.

Unite wireless hotspot unit for on the road coverage.

New Shocks, brakes, tires, hoses, etc

New side and back cameras and monitor.

5 Star tuneup

All LED bulbs

Serta never flat air mattress (full size queen)

New oscillating fans up front

Tint side windows (limo on top and less on bottom) and front (limo on top to match sides)

Pioneer nav/iPod in dash, also Pioneer radio for house sounds when parked.

The bed is high on the list as a favorite! It is a great bed and still allows the slides to go in.

The 5 Star is the newest addition. I am not sure it improves mileage but it does improve drivablity.

Off grid is not a problem. The limiting factors are water and sewage
