FR3 30DS Sofa

Good evening all;

Currently in closing process of a 2021 FR3 30DS.

The seller upgraded to the theater style seating-which is not practical for comfort reasons and for sleeping the 3 of us when we are all together.

Question being-I plan on replacing with a jackknife sofa with footrests.

For those who have done something similar, how easy is it to get the “old” seating out through the 30” door and where do you look for replacements?

Most, I repeat most, furniture you are describing for the removal of the theatre seating, come apart. You may have to do some looking, but usually the back of these seats can be separated by levers located near the hinge point.

The jackknife sofa is a real guess as to how to separate it to fit through the door.
You can purchase furniture from any furniture store, doesn’t have to be RV furniture, but……make sure ANY pieces are smaller than your doorway.
