From tub to shower

The tub in our 07 TT cracked and I am tossing around the idea of replacing it with a shower pan and house style ceramic tile on the walls...thoughts anyone?

Depending on the size of your shower, tile can add a lot of weight to your rig. Every pound you add in tile, you loose in payload. Also, with all the movement and flexing, expect the grout to fall out and tile to fall off if not installed with proper glue and flexible grout. Might fall out anyway. I would us a surround.

From tub to shower

A few years ago, I replace my cracked tub. I found the manufacturer had run a glob of wires under the tub. I'm not saying your will be like this, but if there is a corner to be cut, the manufacturer will do. You might run into a surprise like I did.

Also, I agree with the above. There is a lot of flex in the walls, especially going down the road. I'm not sure how long they would stick.

Buy the panels for a shower surround instead of tiles, quicker, less chance of leaks.

X2. Those walls flex quite a bit, which will cause the tiles to come loose. The surround will likely be a better solution.
