Question Frustrated with the wiring in the Rockwood 8316SS

I'd like to understand the 12v system in my Rockwood Signature Ultralite 8316SS. Is it like a vehicle where everything is +12v and the chassis is ground? If so what's the best way to get a ground wire into the overhead cabinets?

I'd love to put lights into these cabinets is there an easy way to get 12v into the cabinets?

That is correct 12v dc frame ground. If you want lights the easiest way is a stick on battery powered light. If you can fish wires you can wire one up but it depends on a lot of things if you could get a wire to it.
