Generator install advice

I’m the proud new owner of a 2017 Forest River Hyperlite XLR 29HFS! I decided since my camper comes with generator prep, I definitely want the built in generator. I was looking for advice on the install, place to purchase, and just to confirm I’m getting the correct generator.

I believe the correct size generator for this unit is the Onan from this link. Also $2991 is the cheapest I have found it. Is this the correct generator? Is there anywhere else that might be cheaper?

Also, as far as the install what do I need? I know there is a 90° elbow exhaust pipe that I need. Anything else? I thought about putting some sound deadening material on the inside of the compartment - what’s the best brand of that stuff?

I didn’t even check if there is a switch pre-installed inside the camper. Do I need the switch too?

Any other advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks for helping out this newbie.
