Geo Pro G16BH EMS Installation

I recently installed a Progressive Industries hardwired EMS-LCHW30 RV surge and electrical protector. Installation instructions were easy to follow, and it went fast. I decided to mount the unit in the aft compartment just inboard of the external bar fridge.

I fabricated a simple mounting board that I screwed into the frame to keep the EMS off the floor. The solid 30 amp "romex" wire was a bit more difficult to work with, but I had no issues.

Once all the wiring was secured, I cut a circle in the thin plywood barrier and installed a Lexan window so it's easy to see the fault codes. This was a convenient place for me since I keep my power cord in this compartment.
