GeoPro murphey bed pillow gap

I know it's been asked before... my pillow falls into the gap at the head of the bed. What do you use - pool noodles seem too small.

I have a murphy bed although not same trailer. Someone here mentioned "body pillow" and I picked up one at Walmart. Works great. If you get a firm one it works well for the gap at the back of the jacknife sofa ( if you have one) too.

DW made large tube pillows to fill the bed gap, stuffed them with her sewing scraps, ... they double to also cover/fill the gap behind the sofa, we cover them with large beach towels, which also doubles as a cover for an afternoon nap on the sofa, ... life is good ... if we can find gas today ...

Murphy bed mods

Somewhere on this forum I've posted the plans and photos of my folding shelf for behind the couch and the folding headboard for the void at the head of the bed

Gap fix

I used a 1X6 board and glued 6 inch foam and covered it with fabric. It fills the gap and I fold the bed up and lower it without ever touching it. I have replaced the factory mattress with a full size Ikea that is the same height.

Denny B, I don't know if your headboard mod will work in newer Mini-/Micro-lites. They have a horizontal shelf/headboard below the front window. It makes the gap smaller but stuff still falls down.

The additional riser may fit but I don't know about the hinged part. If a pillow fell down against it, it could be trapped between your headboard and the shelf Rockwood puts in.

The shelf for the gap behind the couch will still work. It looks like that hasn't changed.
