Goodbye U-Shaped Dinette in a 2300

We have really tried to like this uncomfortable monstrosity but have found the only useful thing about it is the storage under the back bench and the extra counter space the table offers. In a few weeks this area will be transformed into an area that DW and I can enjoy a little reading and relaxing in comfort on cold or rainy days. The sitting cushions were way too soft and the back cushions so hard they left very little sitting space. Also adding a shelf in the bedroom area for a more convenient place for my C-Pap. I plan to post some before, during and finished pictures. Recliners are on order but not due in till the end of September. Other mods we plan to do is to put Bigfoot levelers on as well and an inverter as well as satellite TV. Tired of carrying around 50lbs of wood and plastic to level the MH up.Click image for larger version

Just took mine out in Freedom Express and got reclining sofa yesterday. It's the only seating we have in the camper and what a huge difference in comfort.
