What's a good solution? Other than continuously wear a helmet.Click image for larger version

I used these.

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Currently unavailable but I'm sure amazon has something similar in stock.

I'm going to try robbing the gas struts from my bed hatch. Mattress is too heavy for those struts to be effective anyway LOL

Try changing the angle of the gas strut to hold up your mattress.

I've added these magnets to 3 different RVs now (2 of our own and 1 for a friend). These things will spoil you. Just leave the old clips in place.

If you install these, put some Butyl tape behind each one. Amazon has a roof/ceiling vent install kit that includes 8ft of 1in wide Butyl tape for about $7. It's the cheapest, shortest piece of Butyl tape I could find. Don't use the screws in the kit. Buy some stainless steel screws at home depot. They're too cheap not to use ss.

Hatchlift.com has a great solution, and they are easy to install.
