Help with replacement shower handles

Hi all,

I need a little help. I want to replace my shower faucet handles with the brushed nickel one to match the rest of the faucets in my camper. Here is a picture of the existing handles. There's no screws/attachment point just for the handles. I'm confused at how to proceed because the housing is so big. Do I have to take off the entire housing then remove the handles? And how can I be sure the new one will fit the existing housing? Should I take the old one with me so the rv parts place can help me find a compatible replacement?

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

If you pry off the plastic "C" and "H" center pieces I think you will find the screws that hold the handles in place...just like the ones at home.

If you like the brushed nickel, replace the whole faucet, wand and hose for $32.95.

Sorry I should have been more clear. I don't want to do just the handles but the entire fixture. But it appears I'd have to take the back part off the wall to get the front part, handles, and shower hose connection thing off too. Is that correct?

Looks good. I was going to replace the shower wand and hose with the Oxygenics one. Do you know how good that shower wand is from greydock?

Hi,
The faucet brand is a Ultra Faucets. Greydock is just a retailer link I found. I have never heard of this brand but I have used Dura Faucets in the past. I have no idea what faucets are in my current rig, they have no visible tags. They look very similar. (cheap, plastic, non-durable)
I would assume either faucet wand is inferior to an Oxygenics and I have replaced them before my first shower in all my rigs. I suggest you do the same.
These faucets can be found at thousands of places so shop around.
Here is a Ultra Faucet without hose / wand.

Here is a Dura Faucet without a hose / wand.

Designer RV Shower Faucet | Dura Faucet

INSTALL:
Remove the 4 screws on shower wall.
Cut or pry through the silicone if needed to remove the faucet box.
Remove the water lines (take care to secure lines so they don't slide to the side in the wall)
Unscrew the faucet from the faucet box.
Reverse steps for install of new faucet.
Check water connections before putting the box back on wall.
Seal faucet box to wall and faucet to the box with silicone.

Edit: When I replace mine (similar to yours) I will go with a single handle like this.

Thanks. After 3 years of looking at the cheapo shower fixtures combined with the horrible flow from the head it's time for them to go.

I had the same problem in my Cougar 5er. Often I would bump one knob and freeze or burn. I took that box off and mounted a double lever model attached to a piece of starboard from the marina right on the shower wall. That set it back 4" closer to the wall. When looking this time I wanted a bigger shower and found it in the Montana with a single lever faucet mounted to the shower wall.

That's my next upgrade. I've already replaced the shower head and wand with a Oxygenics and really like it so far. Just trying to find the right handle assembly.

I don't remember which one I bought but had to replace ours and the cheapest place I could find was Amazon. They are all made cheap. I did take a drill bit and enlarged the out of the faucet, didn't take much for better water flow.
