Thanks, bought pipe at lowes for $10, it was cheaper to buy a single piece of of pipe and cut in half. The pipe claps came from Harbor freight $14 for two sets. Hour and half to make both chocks. I used 4 x 6, but 4x4 will work also.

Nice. Here are mine. I keep a ratcheting wrench in the TT to tighten and loosen them. All stainless steel hardware.

A similar style of chocks I made a few years ago using a small load binder for tightening. They still work good and have never failed.

I like these home-built chocks. If the x-chocks that came with our trailer every fail, I'll be making the replacements myself!
