Interior lighting

Hello fellow campers,
Thanks for allowing me to join this group.
I have a 2018 Shasta Oasis 310K and I'm looking to replace the interior lighting. By either replacing the bulbs to LED or new fixtures.
Looking for thoughts, ideas, parts used, etc...

Thank you al in advance,

Les

Are you talking about the ceiling dome lights? If so, just search Walmart, Amazon or eBay for "RV LED Interior Dome Lights 12V".

Don't waste your money on the T10 912/921 LED's that replace your current incandescent bulbs. Those pancake style LED's have the brightness of a 10 watt night light.

Plus, per my findings using a replacement LED, the LED bulbs use 1/10 the amount of electricity that the incandescent bulbs use. And they are not nearly as hot but give off equal or more good quality light. A winner all around.

My experience with the 912/921 bulb replacement (used in outside marker lights on my A-frame) with LEDs was that most of the LED bulb replacements were way too bright. And were often too big to fit under the lens. Had to measure carefully and select an LED replacement that was not labelled "super brite". Even then, the markers with LEDs were bright enough to see in sunshine, where the incandescent bulbs were not.

The desired brightness for interior lighting is going to vary a lot. The FR stock LED ceiling lights in our A-frame are too bright at night, except for reading. In daytime, with curtains drawn they are barely adequate. If the OP is replacing the ceiling lighting, installing dimmable LEDs, and wiring in a dimmer could be a substantial improvement.
