Kathy Ireland Theater Seating

Just purchased the brand new Kathy Ireland series theater seating from Camping World. It’s replacing the crappy ultra leather in our 2015 Legacy motor home.
We were looking at the Thomas Payne brand, but all the rumors and reports were that the material did not last very long.
The jury will be out on the Kathy Ireland product, but it does come with a five year warranty.Click image for larger version

Do you know length of your seating? It looks nice. Do they recline?

The seating with the 10” console is 69”. Yes they fully recline. I mounted them 2 1/2” off the back wall. They also fit nicely with the on floor vents. They are quiet comfortable. Hopefully the material will last?

Very nice looking seats! Can you just use them in the upright or fully reclined positions? If you set them at some intermediate position do they stay where you set them or do they gradually return to the upright or fully reclined positions. The reclining theater seats that came in my Forester do not fully recline and and they don't stay where you put them when partially reclined. Very uncomfortable. My dealer has been complaining to the Forest River rep and asking for a solution for over a year with no response so far. I really like my floorplan but the seats spoil it.

They were priced pretty good at Camping World, I think we paid about $1200.00 including shipping (which was $90.00). They arrived quickly.

We opted to not get the power seats, which I think have heat too? We didn't like that the power seats would end up creating a four cup holder seat, and the power seats are heavier, and require power. The power seat option was not hardly any extra cost, so if you like 4 cup holders it might be a better value.

As far as the recline feature, I'm not sure I'm follow the question, but if they were installed tight to the wall they would recline, just not full. We kept ours out about 2 1/2" or so and they full recline, and seem to stay in place. I have to admit, I haven't much used them yet, but they are comfortable, they were easy to assemble (a total of 6 pieces), and they look nice in our available space.

Hers some pics from straight up, to mid recline, to full recline.
The seats hold in whatever position they are placed.
So far so good!

We took the plunge and bought the power recline version. Just got them installed last night. Used them to replace a jackknife sofa. We were going to get a manual set until we found that the manual set did not hold the reclined position in any mid range, where as the power units held position anywhere in the range. They also didn't have a full set of the manuals in stock for our color. We had to get the short 5 inch center to fit in our 64 inch wide opening. I am still working on getting regular power (110 AC) to the chair location. We do like them and they are comfortable. They are a little taller in the seat than the jackknife sofa seat was in the slide. I did have to move the front feet discs just off the front ledge of my slide floor to give room for full recline against the wall. I do have curved inward walls on my Concord.

Kathy Ireland Recliner

I see yours also has the clear Kathy Ireland advertising plastic on the footrests. Do you (or anyone else) know the best way to remove them without damaging the recliners? I fear taking a razor knife to them. It's aggravating that there's no easy way to do it.
