Where did you mount the little box at? I haven't looked at mine much, but I am guessing this is all wired up somewhere besides where the rocker switch is on the wall. pictures please..

I mounted it down in my basement where the awning motor power wires come into unit.
Reason why I mounted it there was direct leads to the battery were close.
I will post pics soon as its so windy here the last few days I hate opening my basement doors .
Already broke a hold up latch. I will go out now and see if I can.

Mounted a remote control to the outside amber light behind the main control panel. Will probably mount the awning control there also, there is plenty of space and the wiring is easy to get to. Thanks, f1100turbo for the fantastic idea on the awning.

I could se utilizing this type of technology for the stab jacks slide and tongue jacks also.

I can just picture it now
1) back into the site.
2) mix up a quick Brandy Manhatten with Garlic stuffed olives.
3) plop down a chair.
4) plop down in said chair
5) push button and entire unit sets itself up.

AHHHHHHHHH the good life

This unit is only good for 10amps or less.
Heavier units are available but pricey

Just purchased this kit for myself for the same reason that Herk mentioned. I do not like blindly rolling out my awning as the switch in my Rockwood is located in a spot inside the trailer that I cannot see the outside from very well. Thanks Turbo for this excellent find!!

OK here is the wiring diagram.

I gather that the wall switch becomes redundant when the remote is installed.

HEY all I forgot in all of my hay day of getting this out on the forum I mistakenly forgot to say that you cannot use the manual switch without putting diodes in line from the remote module outputs to the awning wires . SORRY !
Since you have to basically tee into the awning wires you don't want current to go back into the delay when using the manual rocker .
If you do use the manual rocker without them you'll just blow the awning fuse since the delay module outputs are grounded when not in use .
OR you can install a switch on both remote module outputs so that you can use rocker I think that would be a hassle.
I had plans to go to radio shack and pick some up this weekend and thats what reminded me that I may have not said anything .

Sorry for my ignorance of not mentioning this but I AM SURE no one has there module yet !

I just wanted everyone to be clear about the rocker .

Being the electrical dummy that I am, I will probably just disable the rocker switch as I know absolutely nothing about diodes and how to use them, let alone which direction they have to be installed.

had the awning out 6 more times tonight and no issues .
LOL the only issue I may have is a worn out motor by time I get done testing this thing !
the only other thing I changed tonight was to not use there 2 amp fuse but opted for a 7.5
reason being is the motor uses a little over two amp which is ok but when you dead head the awing either deploying or retracting the amperage will blow a 2 amp so I figure .

I would also install a "disable" switch in the battery line.

Driving down the highway and sitting on the fob could be problematic.
