Very nice job on the basement and the wiring of the surge suppressor, USAF Retired!

We also own a 336TSIK, 2020 model, and last year I did a similar mod to the basement. The frame that the wall panels attached to were poorly constructed and cracked, so I rebuilt them using 1x2's. I ended up moving the DC converter to make more space, and lengthened the wall as well. I used cheap indoor/outdoor carpet and spray adhesive to cover the additional wall panel.

The wiring in there is a real rat's nest. Maybe someday I will deal with that. Photos follow...

Nice job, that looks great. Our maiden voyage is the weekend so I had to get it back together. Lol

I might tear into again and go the 1x2 method also and do some more wire cleanup. Between the extra lengths of wire and them just wrapping them around anything and everything, that’s a job that will take awhile.

My next step is to get the water filter installed but I’m having trouble finding the right size elbows.

It's hard to do much with the wiring. They tangle it together at random and it's pretty much impossible to untangle since the ends are running off into the walls in all directions. If you were willing, or able, to take it all loose from the panelboard and converter you might be able to straighten out some of it, but that's a lot of work for not a lot of gain. I wanted to clean mine up, too, but I wasn't able to do very much with it.

It was more a neatness thing for me but you’re right, it wouldn’t be much gain other than the satisfaction of knowing I did it. Lol.

I’ll probably leave it alone for awhile, unless I need to get back there for something.
