Lets talk windows

I think I am about to remove my kitchen window and mount it 180 degrees opposite. When the door is open, (which is always) it blocks the screened opening so the breeze doesn't flow through also thought it would help with heat dissipation when cooking on the stove top. It appears there is 14 screws to remove the inner frame and the outter frame appears to have a rubber seal, not sealant. Any reason I shouldn't do this?

While we are talking windows, I have also been contemplating adding a tall picture window to the camp side to open up the interior with more light and views. The Ibex has an aluminum skeleton construction. Anyone have real world experience with this? Thanks in advance.
