I have a 2021 2109s and I want to install a light dimmer to control all lights. The light switch on the control panel seems to control a relay for all the light where is the relay behind the microwave not sure or am i wrong about the switch.

Why do you think there is a relay for the lights? and why behind the microwave?

If i remove one of the wires on the switch at the control panel the lights stay on the only way to turn them off is to hook the wire back up and activate the switch. One wire is hot "red" and the other is white and a smaller gage. Seems like the smaller wire white would be the same gage to carry the load. The switch is a momentary switch and is not active all the time. Make sense that the switch would activate a relay

How’d! I’m trying to install a 12 volt dimmer switch on my awning light. Not sure where to start. Any suggestions out there?

The lights, slide and awning are controlled by a solid state control module, a Lippert OneControl. It's behind the microwave on my 2205S so it might be in the same location on the 2109S.
The switches are "triggers" which control the OneControl lighting outputs.
Look in the 2205S thread for info on installing a dimmer.
