The differences in delivery times might well be one of several factors.

Who is the seller?
Where is it shipped from?
Where do you live?
Who is the carrier?

When I ordered mine it came almist two weeks earlier than originally expected.

With amazon I've actually cancelled orders due to long delays and when checking on them have found other vendors offering quicker deliveries.

Amazon is a strange world.

What I have also found, if ordering something on a Friday and item is not sold/shipped by Amazon, the seller often doesn't enter order until Monday. If they then ship via FedEx or UPS, it can arrive 8-10 days later.

If they ship via USPS it can arrive in 3-5 days.

I really meant
“hmmmm, I might have to place an order”! I agree, though, Amazon is a strange world.

Ordered mine from Amazon and had it in three days. Appears to be a great product.

Just finished installing the steady stance. Its a very easy DIY project took me 20 min to install (time includes going back and forth to the tools box) and 5 min to correct my error. Here's a hint the screws take a 7/64 allen and the lock nuts 3/8 spin tight or deep socket. Don't put the large washers under the inside nuts or the steady stance won't close all the way when stowing.

I thought this posted early yesterday but it seems my repeater at the ranch can't handle sending pics. This was a very easy DIY project it took about 20 min including getting tools and about 5 min to correct the error I made. Here is a hint the screws take a 7/64 allen wrench and the lock nuts a 3/8 spin tight or deep socket. I put the large washers on the top of the step not required and made the mistake of putting them on the bottom before the lock nut which caused the steady stance to not close all the way use the small washers there. It does the job great thanks TitanMike

Thanks for the details on your install. Pictures did not come through on your first post.
Nice job!

great idea from lippert . ordered Saturday showed up today . Installed but had to do some modifying as these are mainly for lippert brand steps . the steps on my hyperlite 29 hsf apparently are not lippert . Had to cut a strip of metal from under where the steps mount to make it work so they could close . if you don't mount to the outside edge of the step they will not give good support . but mounted to the outer edge they work . my steps were getting wore where the bottom step hits the flange that acts as a stop . the metal was mushrooming and causing play . put these on and solid step now . hope they last for 42 bucks it was worth it and had enough points i got them free

I ordered and a couple weeks later it arrived.

Just finished installing it and it's everything they claim. Like how the legs can be adjusted separately to accommodate uneven ground which is the case on my pad.

Don't know if this has been posted before but if not, it's worth looking at if you have folding steps.

We had the same problem with our two step plus the steps were very far apart. We went with the Torklift Glowstep Revolution three step, bolted right in, has adjustable ground stabilizers and the steps are much more comfortable to walk up on. They are a little pricey but very well worth it for us older folks!

I gave up with motors and transmission and now hold them up with a race strap and lock them down with a locking pin. I do have a two foot step up when the steps are in their locked position but no longer have to deal with system fails Andrea Chinese manufacturers.

Note that these are only for 2 or 3 step units. I recently read on another forum where a guy used clevis pins to mount them to the bottom of the 4th step. Of course they have to be removed but the stability is worth the trouble. I am thinking about using industrial velcro type material so I don't have to mess with clevis pins or bolts.

I am currently using the Camco threaded platform and it provides support but only on one side (And its a PITA as noted several times above).

As mentioned above, the newer "better" steps just will not work for us where we store our rig but it is clearly the primary path for most of the new rigs. I do like the cleaner exterior lines with the hidden steps but it just isn't practical for some of us.

I 'upgraded' from two screw type stabilizers to the 'solid stance' last year.
No comparison.
Setup is less time that it took to do one screw type, and they don't seem to jump around like the screw type did. When stored the stay stored and don't pop out and lock up the steps.
Be sure and measure holes in closed position so they will store properly.
I put in one screw securely and then confirmed the fit before adding the other three.

I have a set to install on the main entrance for now. Before that I was using a scissor's jack from a GTO that worked fine however it was a bit of a pain to deal with. After a year looking at them, I decided to order and they were on back order from every vendor for 4 months. Must be made in China and were sitting in a shipping container off the coast of Comifornia!

Can you post a photo or two of what you described? I am thinking of getting them, as well, and want to avoid the same problem.

No need to get on hands and knees for either operation as both can be done by flipping step up or down as needed.
I was just looking at these at Lippert. thought I would come here to see if anyone had posted lo and behold here where the answers I needed. I like the flipping the step up and down idea are you still happy with them? This still happy with them goes out to everyone who has installed them

I had one of those added to my steps and was never satisfied with the stability. I found a step that attaches to the inside floor and swivels out and is sturdy and not allow any movement of the trailer when entering or exiting. They are made by More-ride and I see that they are now installed on FR products.
