I bought this from pep boys, a bunch of offroading folks reccomend it. Fits in an ammo box or in my case the floorboard compartment of my ram. Bought a better hose and beefier cord, but great for an everyday cary on my truck.

This is what I also have. I love it. Can use it on any tire--bike, TT, car, etc. Set it, let it run, then it shuts itself off.

I have the Viair 400P but not the RV version. I’m not a fan of the coiled plastic air hoses so I bought a good quality hybrid air hose and quick connect fittings to use with the Viair compressor. It’s very quiet which I’m sure my fellow campground users really appreciate.

Viair very good

I bought a Viair 300P about five years ago. I liked it so much, I bought an extra one for my wife's car. We have one in each vehicle. Plus I also bought another one for my son and daughter-in-law. The Viair 300P is a good pump. Some pumps that people recommend are not worth bringing home. We have everything we need in our vehicles to do complete tire repair.
Viair: Follow instructions for use. It will pump up my large truck tires in five minutes.

We had a full set of China Bombs (5) on our Rock Wood Mini Lite 2018. One blew out on the road and one blew out mounted on the back bumper. Replaced all five. Lucky only damage was blew a hole in my spare tire cover.

Re: tire compressor choice:

Can't say I have tried several different compressors, but I do know that what is working for me is the Viair 300P. It runs off the battery in the truck. It will inflate my trailer and rear truck tires to 80 lbs without any problem. There is a locking mechanism to attach the hose to the tire stem. Make sure you have a good tire gauge. The one on the compressor is not completely accurate. I have a 30 foot 5th so I had to purchase an extension hose. This allows me to inflate with the trailer hitched to the truck. Everything fits inside the included zipped bag. No regrets.

x2, love mine...have also used it for winterizing when on the road traveling back to home in cold weather.

I have had the VIAIR 450P for a few years and have used it so many times I can’t even begin to count. The only problem I had with it was one of the rubber insulator grommets that attach the compressor to the bottom plate wore out and sheared. I called VIAIR because I couldn’t find the part online anywhere and they sent me a new set of four for free. The person at VIAIR told me many of the parts can’t be found anywhere other than from VIAIR and almost always they will send any parts that failed at no charge.

We use a Dewalt, runs off battery, 12 volt, AC ( cord is extra)..@$100

They're sending me a new 45-degree extended-reach chuck (for free) because both Schrader valves on mine leak.

Their customer service seems to be great. I have never heard anybody complain about them, but I have read about many happy customers who have needed to deal with them and got the same results you and I did.
