Most of us use the plastic woven mats that you find at camping world

We're on season two with our mat from Wally world. Easy enough to fold up and pack in our pop up. We can unfold this and spray it down with a water hose to clean it.

Just make sure to pick up some pegs or some large nails and washers to keep it down.

I got a free Fireside Patio Mat over the winter (gifted by the manufacturer) - same folks as who bikendan linked to. I got it out for the first time this trip and so far have been happy with it. We'll see how pack up day goes since it's raining cats and dogs today - my old piece of outdoor carpet would stay wet.

Walmart mat like zambolie posted, cheap, rinsable, dirt, sand and water goes through it. I have used mine 3 seasons now and still look good. Also very lightweight.

Exactly!! I got 2 from Wallyworld 5 years ago thinking one now and
a spare for later when the 1st one falls apart.

5 years later the first one is still in use and the "spare" is still in the original
wrapping.... The only damage so far is a little hole where we put it over a
chimp monk tunnel and the little bugger chewed right thru it!

They are a great addition to any camping. Wish we'd had
them way back in our tent camping days.
Can't tell you how many times we had to track thru rain and mud and step
right into the tent.......

We've had one of these mats for a couple of years, it's easy to clean, fold and store. I think ours is a 12 x 15'

If you are referring to welcome / door mats, we have a wooden one from Slatmat (Slat Mat | Wooden Doormats) that we love. Its durable and cleans up well. Its not cheap, but works for us.

A buddy of mine took the idea from the Slatmat and made his own out of 2x2 deck balusters and 2 pieces of rope. To keep the slats spaced out, he knotted the rope 3 times. Looks pretty snazzy and still rolls up nicely.

I'm sure he had less than $15-$20 into it (he's a cheap guy). His biggest expense was likely the balusters, though I'd be surprised if he didn't wait for a sale or coupon.

We got a Clean Machine Mat for $15 that picks up a ton of dirt.
