My first mod. For the portable poo poo tank!

My first mod is complete on the 183. I don't know if anyone has done anything similar or not but We really did not want the poo poo tank in the car or rolling around in side the TT. So I decided to make a holder for it. Nothing fancy but a couple L brackets, U bolt clamps, and about 45 minutes. I ended up sliding the spare over to the right about 8 inches and then mounted the brackets. Had to drill a few new holes in the brackets cause the holes were a little off and small but a little time and it was done. I think the only thing left to do is get some eye bolts for the ratchet straps. The hooks do not really sit in the pre drilled holes well but that is a quick easy fix and it will be good to go. I'm happy with the end result. Now I just have to remember to remove the tank before I lower the bunk [emoji2].

Good idea, what secures the tank at the top to keep it from rocking back?

The tie straps hold it mainly in place, they go through the carry handle so side to side is limited and so is up down movement and the tank I have has a raised portion by where the hose sits. The brackets hold it from side to side and the straps do the rest. I'll find out in a week how it works lol.
