Dress Code

What I was referring too is...I usally set around with my sleeping attire on while downing my morning coffee...outside that would pose a problem, especially in a camp ground situation....rain, same meaning...take this more or less as a pun on outside kitchens..myself, I think they are nice, Cheryl does 90% of her cooking outside and we do not have an outside kitchen option....

Blinking Awning Lights

Sure they will, heck after three or four beers you can only imagine what the lights can do....especially when we have some willing dancers around to help out...these things really bring out the party animals in all of us, heck the last party I went too...oh well, that is for another time and place..but yes, you can get them to do that....this is one combination that I have discovered!

What sleeping attire? ;-)

This thread is seriously out of control.
Got my 5050s and really looking forward to mounting them up.
I could probably buy several sets and sell them for $50 bucks each right at the trailer.

hmmmm....

I assume since the state has a max price places can charge for car, truck and emmissions inspection they'd have the same for trailer inspections.

the only think they check is the break away. I'm sure they should be checking more. I've befriended the one guy that did the inspection this year - last year my TT was a year old..I guess one could wear things out in a year. I check the brakes (for operation) and lights before leaving hitting the road so I'm not concerned...but I can see the ramifications of 'lightly' inspected TT.

I borrowed a car carrier flat bed from a friend of a friend...the brakes were disconnected and no inspection sticker was on it at all. Some lights were missing (like a tail light, but I put one on for the trip).

To be fair, how do they check the brake linings, bearing adjustment, breakaway, and lights for 20 bucks and in an hour round trip to your house?

I played with mine inside - should get the TT thursday for a real test, but yes, I believe they will do all sorts of annoying, er, I mean, FUN things.

They didn't look all that 'white' for my test (6' rolled out across my DR table) but maybe installed it will appear that way.

OK it is great that everybody and their brother is putting these on their camper. Where are you guys finding the power supply unit to power them. All of the light sets that I have found do not have the power supply with them.

I know, but in my dining room it looked red red green blue christmas lights - not a white glowing strip. Maybe spread out under the awning above and behind my it will look different.

I had a wall wart from something or other in my box of spare 'stuff' that is 12v, 1.5a and has the right plug and right polarity.

I saw ones with the wart and teh wart listed separately. Or tie into the 12v system on your TT

I ran mine to a spare fuse. Otherwise you can use almost any 12vdc plug you have laying around the house like an old phone cord or possibly laptop cord.

Hey Tonk Mom! Congrats on your new to you Coachman!! We just sold our 99 Class C Coachman....I LOVED that rig!
