Need plans / drawings of walls

I have a 2008 Lexington GTS 283 and wonder if anyone has the build plans / design prints for the walls? I want to put in a Smartplug and get rid of the rat hole 30 amp setup but I don’t want to drill through a stud in the wall. Any help or plans would be really helpful.

Thanks

Probably doesn't exist for the consumer.

Not familiar with your model RV but I got rid of our rat hole power setup by installing the twist lock connector right where the rat hole was. I don't remember having to do any cutting/drilling for my mod but even if you need to, you should be able to look & feel around the cutout for the existing fixture to determine there is no stud there.

As Larry2c did, I replaced our rat hole with a Marineco twist lock connector in the same location. If i recall, it took a bit of enlargement, but that was it.

Have had excellent results with a good quality stud finder. Will help find wiring also.

Thanks all. I tried the stud finder (actually 3 of them and a magnetic finder) to no avail. I thought about redoing the rat hole however it is located in another compartment so the back of the female connector’s cable would be exposed to stuff in that compartment but I may mcgiver that.

I will also reach out to forest River. Again thanks all. .

You really should think about it some more IMHO. Rat hole storage can be troublesome but having to store a cord is a PITA.

I'd give anything to have my ole Rat hole storage again.
At least your are doing a smart plug, that's so much better than the crap fine thread connection they put on new TT now a days.

Contacted Forest River

They gave me the plans that they had and were extremely nice about it btw. The only challenge was that they did not have wall specs but did for roof, plumbing and everything else.

So I McGivered a split cover to go around the cable and the RV and it will keep the varmints out. Simple to install and uninstall. I can send images if anyone wants them.
