I changed the faucet to a high rise. A short project but it makes it more convenient at the sink.

Hey Eagle,
Where did you get the faucet?

And what year is your 3001? We don't have the window in our bathroom. There is a storage compartment there instead.

I thought your was a 2012. Mine is also 2012, manufactured December 2011. They must have changed somewhere in that time frame.

I am sure that the faucet you replaced is better quality than the ones we get for trailers. In trailers they are made to be light weight and the quality is very low.

Faucet

capucine: Thats true, The factory unit is plastic and the Peerless is brass. The original unit started to squeak on the hot water side and between that and the low clearance it was becoming very annoying.

squeaking is the trade names of these faucets. I dont know any that dont squeaks when they are operated. I replaced the O rings on mines and used plumbers grease on them to stop the squeaking but it lasted only a short time and they get very hard to opens as well.

I like it. I want to add one like this in my bathroom and in my outdoor kitchen. The bowl is very small in the outdoor kitchen and with the cheap small faucet it's hard to even wash your hands let alone do any dishes! Nice

It is a nice upgrade. Didn't know that the plumbing (threads, diameter, etc.) were the same as home. Good to know.

CMULVEY: I have found that all the kitchen and bath fixtures are standard household type. They are the cheapest I have seen, lol but they are standard. Frank

That was the first thing I did in our 5ver....went to higher faucets in the bathroom and kitchen. Got rid of the plastic stuff and replaced with a metal. Kitchen with the pull out faucet.
