New IKEA closet

After the way our home closet turned out with new IKEA stuff, we decided to see if we could modify our 5th wheel closet and it turned out better than we expected!!

After removing the small 3 drawer cabinet on the left (already removed in pic) and the closet length shelf/rod, had to move the outlet and cable access a few inches to the right. Then added the drawers (the smallest IKEA closet unit) but had to cut about 7" from the top and drill a few extra holes so the hardware could fit in itself. then we added an extra rod. Had to go to Home Depot for those as IKEA rods were not long enough for what we needed. We did add a piece of melamine on the right wall of the closet from top to bottom to better attach the rods (more stable that the closet walls). Then added an extra light in the unit itself. Just need to trim it up but def have more storage and hanging space!!

So was this a place for a stackable washer/dryer? Did turn out nice.

No, the stackable W/D are to the left. This is the closet itself

What make/model 5th wheel do you have?
Having that info in a signature or spelling it out in your post, helps those understand what R/V the modification took place in.
