New Lippert window and sewer pipe storage

I added a new Lippert window to our unit and added a pvc fence post storage for our sewer pipe. Both very easy. My new Rhino hose didn't fit into the bumper and I was tired of the frosted glass window on the door.

I also made a fence post sewer hose holder, and like yourself painted it black. When I traded my previous trailer in, it was transferred to the new one. It's a huge timesaver having it right next to the dump valve. Did you also use the rain gutter inside?

Here is mine...

Are y’all getting 5” posts? Or are they just one size?

IIRC there exist both 4" and 5" post covers. Not all stores carry both sizes. Shop around.

Why get a 4” post as that’s the same size as the bumper when the gist here is to create more & better storage than our square tubes bumpers can provide.

If that response is directed to me, I didn't intend that someone would buy a 4" post cover. I had to shop around to find the 5" because not all stores carry them.

READING Post no one says what size they used or if they did I missed it looking at pictures it looks like 5" post because hose would fit tighter in 4" post . Plus gutter would not side in 4" post . I'm I right about this ?

That reflects my experience when I built one in the past.

I had to get my 5" cover at Lowes as my local D-Pot doesn't (or did at the time) have them in stock. The gutter came from a local Ace Hardware.

Follow up on sewer hose stowage:

I did use 5" vinyl fence post, this size has to be used in order for the rain gutter
to slide in and out. I used Amerimax rain gutter which has no lips. I used small aluminum POP RIVETS just long enough to penetrate the two walls if the 5" Vinyl cap & fence post wall. The only screws I used were the screws used to
mount system to RV outer frame lip. I did use # 8 SS screws 1/2" long to mount Vinyl handle from Lowes. Trim handle to fit contour of end cap with razor knife. I shortened the 5" fence Post by 7" For a good fit Underneath RV. Used 1/2" wide aluminum flat bar for support from LOWES. I had to use a 1" X 2"
5" long furring strip to mount between 5" post and frame of RV to clear the Propane line on one side. I used two sheet Metal screws to prevent wood block from moving. After installation of completed system I drilled 3/8" holes in bottom of 5" post and rain gutter to let any water drain from sewer hose. I did use AMERIMAX end caps pop riveted in place in the end of rain gutter. I also used small fender washers underneath the knob screw head and handle from Lowes.
