New TV and Jensen on order

Well after debating about getting a bigger TV for the Wildwood the boss finally gave me the nudge. The 19 incher that came with the TT was good but hard to see while lying in bed.

The other day the wife wanted to show me a video in the TT while I was tinkering. The Concercrap would not play the entire video so she spouted "that's it, I want something that will work".

After a great deal of research I decided to get a 26" Samsung flat screen and replace the Concerjunk with the Jensen system. Hopefully this time next week the trailer will be rockin!!

Now I have to figure out a way to anchor the TV while the TT is on the road. Any suggestions?

I put a swivel wall mount on my LCD TV.
I can pull it out and aim it at the bed or dinette when needed.
For travel I push it back against the wall and I have installed 2
"tea cup" hooks- one on each side of the TV.
I put a bungee cord across it so it stays flat against the wall
while on the road.
It works for me.
If you do this you've got to beat on the wall with your fist and
try to hit a stud for the main mount.
I was lucky and also hit corner studs with both cup hooks.

A 26" is going to be heavy so be careful and mount it to something
solid.
In an extreme case you can mount a piece of 3/4 inch pine board
across 2 studs. Then screw the TV mount in the middle of this
board. You might even put up a piece of 3/4 lumber that's wider
than the TV.
Screw it into as many studs as you can hit. Mount the TV on it as
well as the cup hooks on both sides for your bungee cord.
Stain to match the paneling and use a router round over bit to
make the edges round and pretty.

Some folks just take their TV off the shelf and lay it flat on the
bed while traveling. I prefer the wall mount but either way
will work.
