Sammici,
The off-road package comes with the ladder or if ordering a new one Forest River they will install the backer for the ladder. FR is all over the place on that subject, I was also told that the roofs on the Palomini’s are not walk on roofs. If service is needed on the roof they suggest using a piece of playwood between the beams to carry the weight.

Found this on the internet. Because I’m bigger I do put down a board to spread the weight. Dealership told me they would not have installed a ladder if they didn’t want you on the roof.Click image for larger version

Just a quick suggestion about installing a powered vent in the roof. If there is already a vent there remove the screen and pull down the inside frame around the vent. Where there are ceiling lights the power may already be there from a wire doing to a light on the ceiling. That is what I found on my trailer when I had to replace a roof vent. The power is just going around the ceiling vent.

Sammici, exactly why I said FR is all over on this subject. I'll figure something out about the roof.
