not a big deal, but we like it

don't know why we didn't think of this before, our micro Lite 25KS floor plan has the bathroom at the back of the trailer, ... and we(and any visitors) have full view of the toilet anytime the door is open, ... we don't like to keep the door closed full time, that makes the trailer seem even smaller than it is, but we also don't like having to see the toilet full time, ... the three pics below show the two previous options, and then our new third option, ... a few days ago DW said she wanted to make a cloth partition for the opening, ... we think the results are great, ... it blocks view of the toilet without the confining effect of the closed door, ... we can still close the door when more privacy is needed and since the dowel rod is sitting on two Command hooks, it can easily be lifted off them if ever needed to be removed temporarily, ... (the design has no special meaning, DW just wanted to add a little color to it)

I like it. The picture in the middle reinforces what you said about having the door closed making the camper look smaller. Jay

I did the beads also in the early 70's.

We took the door off of the bathroom and did a cloth shower curtain instead. It's just DH and I so not having a door isn't an issue.

as a kid in the 50's, I remember relatives living on their farms(the ones with indoor plumbing), who all they had as a bathroom door was a bed sheet hung across the opening, ... DW just got the partition finished today, we put it in place and hope to get to the cg this weekend for our first use of it, ... but I can't see anything about it that we won't be happy with, ...

Oh no.... not a mirror. I'd scare myself to death when I was half asleep and heading for the bathroom.

The curtain looks nice. Our trailer is about that size and we loved it. Still love it, just can't handle the hooking/unhooking any more.

This would work too. https://smile.amazon.com/CaseFan-Wal...cals+for+walls

We have a similar layout at a seasonal site. The problem is that the toilet area also sports the rear exterior door of the trailer.. This would not be so bad if we were placed conventionally- parallel with doors facing others' roadsides, or straight nose to tail in line. We are a modified tail to nose, but offset by ~30 degrees, so our deck is in full view of the neighbour behind. So now we end up closing both doors, creating a problem with ventilation on those hot humid days. I think both doors will get the curtain treatment. Thanks for the great idea.

You could also put a mirror on the inside of the door and really gross yourself out on the throne.
