Outdoor Griddle for 179DBK

Anyone know which griddle this is? I would like to add one to my 2022 179DBK. Ours currently has the drawer above where this griddle sits.

Thanks,

Andy

Looks like the older style (front grease drain) 17" Blackstone.

Thanks! Yes it does. Any idea on the sliding bracket mechanism? This that is custom or an off the self item?

Most of the sliding shelves in R/Vs are specific to the application so you might contact a dealer and see what they suggest or simply start looking online for something that might fit YOUR application. There are plenty of steel sliding shelves out there something like these...

Thank you very much. I found a YouTube video on how to make one.

But I will start looking at these metal ones too.

Thanks again,

Andy

This is a nice feature but does not come out far enough to prevent grease from making a mess of your RV.

I’ve seen someone with the full basement tray which comes out almost 3 feet. They positioned there stove at the end of the tray which kept the grease from splashing on the RV.

As Homebrew mentioned the grease is a problem especially when cooking smash burgers when the griddle is too close to the trailer.
I use a Lifetime folding table and longer hoses to get as far away from the trailer as possible.

I got mine on Amazon in 2019.

DOZYANT 12 feet Low Pressure... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XK43NL3?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Works well for me and it has a shut off at the griddle end.

I was looking at the Blackstone grills also. I have a 2020 NOBO 19.1 28ft and that was before they included the side flip out propane grill. We do have the quick connect propane connection though right in that area.

What I want though is one that is BOTH Charcoal and Propane, or can be converted back and forth and I am not finding them in anything portable. I only see the combos like that on large outdoor pits.

I don't want to be tied specifically to propane and as an RVer I want something that can do many things in one unit. Used as a pit, smoker, fire box, and propane burner for morning coffee. I have intertained buying a portable pit and installing a burner into it or on that side since they do sell the burners seperate.

This was an idea I had.

This unit on Amazon coupled with a burner. I need it to fold up and slide into the side hatch which is 7ft deep to the other side of the trailer in the front under the bed.

This is called Charcoal King and folds up and should fit within the hatch. Just needs a burner added to it.

Burner add on:

Anybody have any thoughts or have done this?

I forgot to add that if using the Blackstone 17" or 22" with that hose you'll need an adapter like this to replace the griddle regulator.

Hotop 1/4 Inch Low Pressure Quick... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XGKDBFD...p_mob_ap_share
