Outdoor shower/faucet DIY

I added a DuraFaucet with a hose attachment to the end of my low point drain attachments. Attached with a home made bracket.

(If the hose is not attached no water will come out if you turn the knobs.) My 3 year olds cannot keep his hands off knobs or buttons.

Cool idea. Personally I would let it run without the hose attached. One squirt in the face and the 3yr old will figure it out pretty quickly...

Clever idea! I guess I'd never put much thought into low point drains having pressure behind them if the pump was activated. We use the outside shower as a hand washing station but I might also consider this mod as a way to wash up other items. Nice work

You must not have a 3 year old in your area of influence. They are relentless.!!

Cool. Can you share more details on the home made bracket? Thanks for sharing.

Probably have to be a little more careful when winterizing, eh?

Well, I found a piece of 3”x3” 90 degree bent aluminum 5” wide. Drilled 2 7/8” holes 4” apart and wood screwed it to the underside next to the frame.
